3。5 estrellas。Me ha gustado la historia que se plantea， tenia muchas ganas de leer este manga que es como un clásico。 Se nota que es un tomo un poco introductorio en el que estamos empezando a conocer a los personajes， y el mundo; aun así me ha gustado mucho， el final te deja con muchas muchas ganas de leer el siguiente tomo， y la parte del misterio y de los que parecen ser los enemigos que se empieza ya a plantear me parece muy interesante。 También se plantean bastantes ideas que me ha gustado 3。5 estrellas。Me ha gustado la historia que se plantea， tenia muchas ganas de leer este manga que es como un clásico。 Se nota que es un tomo un poco introductorio en el que estamos empezando a conocer a los personajes， y el mundo; aun así me ha gustado mucho， el final te deja con muchas muchas ganas de leer el siguiente tomo， y la parte del misterio y de los que parecen ser los enemigos que se empieza ya a plantear me parece muy interesante。 También se plantean bastantes ideas que me ha gustado leer， ya que son "reflexiones" buenas。 Sin duda tengo ganas de ponerme ya con los siguientes tomos。 。。。more

Absolutely wonderful。 This story is surprising。 It is light and funny one second and then extremely dark and depressing the next。 I can’t escape the immediate love of the Elric brothers and their journey to reclaim their bodies。 Nina’s story will haunt me forever。 Absolute insanity。

This was really good。 I loved discovering this world and these characters， I am already loving so much the cast we are following。 Honestly this even made me tear up which is surprising。 Can’t wait to read the sequel and watch the anime。

Muy buen comienzo para la historia， no es exactamente igual que en el anime， pero es genial， únicamente echo en falta la buenísima banda sonora del anime， por lo demás la ilustración tiene una calidad alucinante y el ritmo es mejor llevado que en el anime。

It's been over 10 years since I've watched Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood。 I actually grew up with the original series but brotherhood is a better version （despite loving some scenes from the original series too） but I never did read the manga。 So I thought why not give it a read with these hardcover fullmetal edition with much nicer paper。 This is about the two brothers who decided to try and bring their mother back with alchemy and of course it didn't go well。 TO get something you must give It's been over 10 years since I've watched Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood。 I actually grew up with the original series but brotherhood is a better version （despite loving some scenes from the original series too） but I never did read the manga。 So I thought why not give it a read with these hardcover fullmetal edition with much nicer paper。 This is about the two brothers who decided to try and bring their mother back with alchemy and of course it didn't go well。 TO get something you must give up something， this is the rules of alchemy。 So now one brother has a metal body while the other is half robotic thanks to their fuck up。 So they are trying a way to fix their bodies by going around the world finding a stone that'll help them do just that。 The first volume is strong though it gets REALLY good in the second half， especially final two chapters。 The first chapter is kind of a build up of how the world works， who the brothers are， and sets the stage。 The middle chapter is kind of character building for the brothers。 But the final arc in this book focuses on Nina， a girl just living her best life with her doggie and father。 But something dark awaits her future that ruins everything。 Overall， the first arc is solid fun but the next two arcs grow into something better。 The final arc alone pushes this from a 3 to a 4 all tougher with some heartbreaking moments to say the least。 Art is fantastic as well as solid writing。 A 4 out of 5 all together。 。。。more

Daniel bought me beautiful hardcover editions of the first three books of this series！！ I’m so excited to collect them all， and even more excited for when we get to have them together on a shared bookshelf some day 🥰Really just incredible。 It’s no wonder that this is probably the most famous anime/manga series in the US， maybe second only to something like Dragonball。 Other hugely popular series like My Hero Academia I think also take some inspiration from FMA to help reach that next level， i。e。 Daniel bought me beautiful hardcover editions of the first three books of this series！！ I’m so excited to collect them all， and even more excited for when we get to have them together on a shared bookshelf some day 🥰Really just incredible。 It’s no wonder that this is probably the most famous anime/manga series in the US， maybe second only to something like Dragonball。 Other hugely popular series like My Hero Academia I think also take some inspiration from FMA to help reach that next level， i。e。 Scar/the Hero Killer。 It just flies， it’s well drawn， and I love the way that this series is structured where it gives you bits of backstory as you go rather than bogging down the beginning with small details。 Can’t wait to read the rest！！ 。。。more
